Well as some of you may know i am playing on a stake basketball team as well. We won our last game, it was so much fun. I will try to get a picture of my basketball team as well. Thats all for now!

Well Jana and I are now on an indoor soccer team. It was so much fun last semester and i am really looking forward to it. Our first game is this saturday. I will try to get some pictures of our team:)

Hello family and friends,
It has certainly been a long time since i have updated my blog. School is going great but is busy as usual. I love how much i am learning. Right now i am working with other students and we are trying to design a whole house in 3 weeks. It is overwhelming but i cant believe i have learned so much so quickly. In my other classes i am learning how to draw and weave. Ya i know, it is so cool. Instead of writing essays, reading and taking test i am coloring and weaving threads together. I LOVE IT! I sure do miss all of you and i am glad to hear that everyones birthday went well. I keep all of you in my prayers. I am extremely blessed.
Well this week my friends, jana, emily, and aubrey, and i have been searching for a place to live in the summer as we attend school. We found a great little house, three bedroom, and two bath so we pursued this offer and were accepted by the owner to go ahead and rent the house. It was only $750 a month. We were all excited but Jana did not have a good feeling about continuing. The owner was keeping in touch with us through email so i sent all of the emails to Dad to check everything out. (because i had no clue what i was doing) Well dad later figured out that it was a huge scam. I am glad we found out soon enough. I am so grateful for the gift of discernment from the holy ghost. With out the heavenly gift of the spirit, my life would be very difficult.

We went ice skating and we both had a blast. We did not fall once but we definitely had some close calls.

I have not shown you yet but a few weeks ago we got tons of snow. It was sooooo much fun, but sooooo cold:) I loved it:)

This is a color board for a New York Bistro that me Emily and Aubrey have been working on all week. We have not exactly finished it yet but these are the fabrics and materials that we wanted to use. It turned out quite nice


This is another color board i did this past week. I have definitely improved my other ones. I had to create a color board for a master bedroom. So I came up with using fabrics of greens, golds and tans:)


This is jana and the coke cans she has been saving up. We decided to be creative so we went and grabbed a big branch off of a tree for our little Christmas tree. Then we decided to use her coke cans and make them into ornaments:) i will show you all a picture of our tree as soon as it is finished:) It is looking great so far:)

Dear Family and Friends
Well i cant wait to see you at the holidays. I cant wait. Well things have been going pretty good for me here. The weather is so weird. It will be freezing and start snowing, then it will start to rain, and then other times it just feels so good outside that you dont even need a sweater. I am loving it though. Well it has been an interesting few weeks up here in Salt Lake City. As most of you may know that along with California, Salt Lake City has had to deal with angry protestors against proposition 8. It frightens me sometimes to see all of the threats being made but I know I will be kept safe. :) I am so glad to have a prophet who will guide us through these last days, my roomate pointed something out to me in the Proclamation it says " WE CALL UPON RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND OFFICERS OF GOVERNMENT EVERYWHERE TO PROMOTE THOSE MEASURES DESIGNED TO MAINTAIN AND STRENGTHEN THE FAMILY AS THE FUNDAMENTAL UNIT OF SOCIETY""
Well I have been keeping pretty busy with other things. We finished up our last soccer tournament and we came in 3rd place out of all the teams. ha ha I was just on the team because you had to have a girl on the field at all times. It was so much fun though. The guys here that play soccer have a great deal of talent. Many could have kept playing and gotten far with their talent. It has been lots of fun playing with them:)
Jana and I play basketball on tuesdays. We are the only girls that play but it is tons of fun. Jana is very talented in sports. She could have gone to play college volleyball or basketball if she wanted too. We have tons of fun together:)
School is keeping me busy. I know I say this over and over but this Interior Design program pushes you to your limit. I have learned so much just in this one semester. I am surprised how fast i have learned. It will be nice to have a break though. Oh ya if any of you have any ideas i have to make a lamp. All i get is the the cord that plugs into the wall. Any suggestions would be great :) Well i will hopefully see you soon. Love you all:)

These are pictures of my friends Jana Emily and David. This is after our halloween dance so we decided to be crazy. We ended up staying up till four in the morning and going to a volleyball tournament in the morning:) ha ha We are crazy:) Emily and David decided to go to the dance as emos. They were so funny. Jana and I couldn't find a costume so we decided to make our own. So we made some togas and dressed up as Greek Girls. It was plenty of fun.

Well i am having so much fun up here for all of you wondering about me. I have many projects that i am constantly doing but i really am loving learning about interior design:) I am also having so much fun with sports. My schedule is pretty busy during the week but i love it. Mondays we do some type of fun activity and then tuesdays I play basketball, Wednesday i have soccer practice and then i go to Volleyball. Thursdays i am going to start up volleyball at the University institute, and Saturdays i have been having volleyball tournaments in the mornings and then our soccer tournament is in the afternoons usually. It gets pretty busy but it is such a blast. It is cool because even though we are at a business college many of the students here are amazing in sports:)

Sorry about the pic.  This is me and Jana in our crazy outfits.  Funny story is that we decided to go take pictures with the other girls on the other floors and got stuck going out in the Lobby this way.  It was embarrassing especially when most of the boys at our school were down in the lobby at this time.

Homework takes up a whole bunch of my time but i kind of enjoy it.  I am learning about painting and color

I am taking a drafting class. (Architect Drawing) Everything has to be perfect.  I had to practice a few hours of just drawing lines and lettering.  It is a ton of work.  I am now working on a floor plan.  It was lots of fun but tons of detail has to go into it:

Hey family this is my roomate Jana.  She is such a sweet girl.  We are great friends.  The other night we decided to do something crazy so we saw the fountains outside our hotel. (These fountains are mostly for decoration)  So we went at night and ran through them.  We were soaking wet.  We got the craziest stares but it was so much fun.  We are having a blast and i hope you guys are too.  I love all of you

Last night me and some college girls on my floor heard about the tabernacle choir practicing that night.  We all really wanted to go.  It was so fun.  The music was amazing.  It was practice so the director would stop them now and then and tell them what they were doing wrong.  It was interesting to hear what he had to say to such a wonderful choir.  Here is a little clip i got of the choir and the orchestra.

We had so much fun this summer. Nauvoo was one of the best trips. This is with my best friend and my sisters. We did baptisms for the dead at the temple.
